Are you part of the SRU?

Like the SRU, Scottish Rugby Television is committed to the development and promotion of rugby in Scotland. We are however totally independent of the Scottish Rugby Union and are funded by sponsors and advertisers who enable us to bring coverage of Scottish rugby to you.

What is the best way to watch your coverage?

We are aiming to give our viewers, sponsors and advertisers the biggest possible choice.

You can watch our videos on our website, or on other websites which carry our programmes, for example Pitchero.

You can set your computer to automatically download our free video podcast from the iTunes store. Then you can keep the videos for as long as you want, watch them full screen on your computer, put them on an iPod and show them to your friends, or play them onto your TV from an iPod, Apple TV or similar hardware.

We also post the videos on YouTube. Picture quality can be variable, however.

The choice is yours.

When will my club be on Scottish Rugby Television?

We are committed to covering the whole spectrum of Scottish club rugby. We choose games which are of interest to our audience and to potential sponsors. A match between close rivals in a lower division, involving a promotion battle, may be of greater interest than a mid-table Premier match - especially if a sponsor is keen to come on board. Please contact us if you would like to suggest such a match.

Why don't you cover games live?

Getting live pictures from a rugby ground to the internet is expensive and anyway, a large percentage of our potential audience will be out at a rugby match at the time, won't they?
